The
historical society recently featured a book signing with local author
Jim Miller
on the history of Story Land, started in 1954 by Bob & Ruth Morrell. The
highlight of the evening was a 1956 radio recording done on a walk
through the very small, but quaint, StoryLand, followed by various tales
from past and present employees, visitors and Miriam Owen,
Bob Morrell’s sister.
The
evening was thoroughly enjoyed by all. The historical society would like
